Taking quality agricultural inputs directly to the farmers who need them most.
Every farming season begins with hope โ hope for a good harvest, a better income, and a brighter future. But for too many farmers in Kyangwali, that hope has been quietly stolen by one simple, stubborn problem: distance.
For years, we met farmers who walked for hours just to reach the nearest agro-input shop. They spent money they could barely afford on transport just to buy seeds, fertiliser, or livestock medicines. Some delayed planting because they couldn't access inputs on time. Others abandoned their farms altogether โ not because they lacked the will, but because the distance cost more than the harvest was worth.
At Be Blessed, we knew this was more than an inconvenience. It was a systemic barrier to prosperity. And we refused to accept it.
We had already opened 6 agro-input and veterinary outlets across Kyangwali and the host community. But the smallest, most remote communities โ the farmers who needed us most โ were still being left behind. Building permanent outlets in every village wasn't financially viable. So instead of waiting for farmers to come to us, we built something that could come to them.
A specially equipped distribution tricycle loaded with seeds, fertilisers, veterinary medicines, animal feeds, and other essential inputs. It travels directly to farming communities on a scheduled basis โ bringing the shop to the farmer, not the other way around.
Each community has its own dedicated service day. Farmers know exactly when the mobile unit arrives, so they can plan their purchases, prepare their questions, and access inputs right on time โ without missing a planting window.
Certified seeds ยท Quality fertilisers ยท Crop protection chemicals ยท Veterinary medicines ยท Vaccines ยท De-wormers ยท Animal feeds ยท Feed additives โ all genuine, certified products at the same prices available at our outlets.
Our mobile team doesn't just sell โ they advise. Every visit includes practical guidance on product use, crop management, animal health, and farm planning. The mobile unit is an extension of our qualified team, not just a delivery vehicle.
We also participate in local market days where farmers from multiple villages gather. This maximises our reach and ensures that even farmers between scheduled visits can access inputs and expert advice when they need it most.
Less transport spending. Inputs accessed on time. Harvests planted without delay. What was once a long, costly journey has become a service delivered at the farmers' doorstep โ and the difference shows in every season's results.
The mobile unit currently operates a scheduled rotation across 6 villages in and around Kyangwali Refugee Settlement and the host community. Each village has a fixed service day, ensuring farmers can plan around it without uncertainty.
In Kyangwali alone, there are 32 underserved farming communities that still face significant challenges accessing agricultural inputs. While our tricycle serves 6, the remaining 26 communities are still waiting.
Our vision is ambitious but clear: expand the Mobile Distribution Program by deploying additional tricycles and extending our reach to every underserved farming community across Kyangwali and beyond. We are actively seeking partners who share our belief that geography should never be a barrier to prosperity.
